The fact that the Chinese eat everything that flies, swims or crawls, they probably know everything. On the dining table in the Middle Kingdom, you can see bats and snails, worms and caterpillars, frogs and insects.
In China, it never occurred to anyone to buy a fruit repeller – why scare away such a gorgeous treat? But what about the not very beloved brothers in our smaller brothers in neighboring Vietnam? Worms and caterpillars, as well as another very small living creature, disappeared from the lists of Vietnamese delicacies back in gray antiquity. A tail is being prepared separately, which, due to its stiffness, is boiled for a long time in a rice stitch and is served to the table at the final stage of the feast. European tourists do not always like the attitude of the Vietnamese towards dogs, whom local residents, like Koreans, consider them a delicacy rather than friends of a person and grow them on special farms, feeding to the right condition. Yes, and protection against rodents, often consists in their capture to be sent to the kitchen. But, if there are many hunters among tourists to try snake meat or a crocodile fillet, then even the most non -reproachment and familiar to excessively exotic kitchen guests of the country. But not everything is so scary. For opponents of “extreme” cuisine, in any city in Vietnam there is an excellent European cuisine, local dishes of meat, fish and seafood, vegetables that have an amazing taste, and rice dishes traditional for Southeast Asia.
