Bami – Indonesian cuisine dish

Indonesian cuisine is distinguished by its originality and originality, it harmoniously combines various seasonings and spices. The main ingredient is considered to be rice, it is not only boiled, but also prepared for a couple and fried. Very popular in Indonesia, the Nasi Goren dish (translated “fried rice”), which is served as for breakfast, for lunch and dinner, and is rice with meat, vegetables and shrimp, seasoned with sharp sauce.

The main meat dish in Indonesian cuisine is considered barbecue, it is prepared from chicken, beef, shrimp and fish, traditionally seasoning with sharp sauce or marinade. In Indonesia, pork dishes are rarely prepared, since the country is predominantly Muslim, but there are still such dishes. One of them is called “Bami” – a traditional pork with nuts. This dish fell in love with many Russian housewives, its recipe can be found on various culinary sites, for example, on the main ingredients of Bami are pork, nuts, tomatoes, mushrooms and eggs. When preparing this dish, seasonings are actively used: salt, red and black pepper, garlic. Thanks to the combination of unexpected ingredients, Bami has a unique taste.

In Indonesia, Bami can be prepared in different ways, not only pork, but also fish or lamb can be used as the main ingredient. The omelet is prepared quite simply, it is enough to mix eggs, water and salt, fry in a pan and let it brew. Some season it with pepper or other spices, for example, nutmeg. In Indonesia, this dish prefers to eat with hands.
