What do we know about Austria? Of course, first of all, phrases such as the Vienna Palace, Vienna Waltz, Vienna Coffee, Vienna Gingery Christmas and Viennese apples pieces come to mind… How much sophistication and nobility in all this! Eh, take a walk now along the old Viennese streets, visit a local coffee shop in which great coffee and a delicious apple pie will certainly serve. However, the window is snowy reality, and Austria is far enough, and nothing else is left, how to go to the kitchen and bake a Viennese pie with apples in the home version. Let’s follow my example – after all, the pie is actually very tasty!
What will be needed for the preparation of the Vienna cake:
For the test:
Oil or margarine – 125 grams
Sugar – 100 grams
Egg – 1 piece
Flour – 200 grams
Baking powder – 1 h. spoon
For filling:
Small apples – 5-6 pieces
For filling:

Flour – 100 grams
The zest of one lemon
Cream or sour cream – 200 grams
Eggs – 1-2 pieces
For sprinkling:
Sugar
Cut almonds
Cooking method:
Mix our products and knead the soft dough. We take the connective shape and lubricate abundantly with oil, then sprinkle with breadcrumbs and lay out the dough, make the sides 3 cm high.
We cut apples peeled from the peel and seeds into 4 parts and evenly spread on the dough.
For pouring, mix softened oil with sugar and egg, add lemon zest, flour, then whipped sour cream or cream.
Our pie is evenly covered with pouring.
Sprinkle with almonds and sugar on top and put in the oven heated up to 200C for half an hour (until a ruddy crust is formed on the pie).
Next, turn off the oven and leave the pie in it for a quarter of an hour.
Even in cold form, the Viennese apple pie does not lose its magnificent taste!
