Once again, meat and flour prices flew, which means that other food products will rise in price after it? What is it connected with, usually in Tajikistan, a price increase occurs for the holidays, due to a larger sales volume. It seems that the holidays have passed, and others are not yet planned. Then what’s the matter? So over the past week, meat products have risen in price by 3-4 somoni. For example, beef, the recommended price of which was 14 somoni, now reaches 17-18 somoni per kilogram, and lamb costs 20 somoni, although it was previously – 17. In addition, over the past month, prices rose and flour. So, a 50-kilogram bag of 1 variety of Russian and Kazakhstani production cost 105 somoni, now 110-118 somoni can be given for a bag of flour.
And so in essence with all foods. For 10 months of last year, certain first -necessity products have become more expensive by almost 50% (at the average wage of ordinary Tajikistan in 120 somoni)! The leaders of the State Unitary Enterprise “Trade and Markets of the city of Dushanbe” believes that the problem of raising prices in the markets can still be solved. “Each market is currently operating as Zagotontors. In the future, we plan to open our farms to increase the procurement turnover, which includes not only meat, but all other food products. We ourselves also import livelihood for further sale in the form of meat and meat products. I would like to add that in the markets prices dictate the market and private traders.
