Chocolate

More than eighty percent of the entire population of the Earth is very fond of sweet, especially chocolate. The origin of all sweet things occurred in ancient Egypt. This became known when the Egyptian papyrus with the recipes of various old desserts recorded on them managed to detect. Saw fruits were recognized as the first sweetness. Their sale began in the fifteenth century BC. But people learned about chocolate only when they managed to reveal the secret qualities of such a plant as cocoa. However, the spread of chocolate was carried out very slowly.

To plant plantations with the trees of cocoa, the legendary Mayan tribe began in the six hundred year BC after relocation to South America. There is an assumption that the fruits of the Mayan cocoa were used not at all for food, but as a monetary equivalent. Later Maya began to make a drink from cocoa, and the same idea came to mind to Aztecs. This drink was called ksokoatl. KSOCOATLL has a very interesting and ancient legend. The Aztecs believed that the Cocoa tree brought none other than Ketzalcoatl, who fell to the ground on the ray of the star. He taught people to process cocoa fruits and make them suitable for food, and moreover, to make them a very nutritious and tasty paste of them. From it appeared the ancestor of our hot chocolate. Cortes naturally became the first European to try this miracle – a treat. Later, the chocolate was brought to Europe and spread throughout the globe of the globe. And this wonderful dessert continues to delight the sweet to this day.
