Swedish cuisine, “Smerskastort” ham

Prepare the cake on the eve of the holiday to let the components soak well. If you want the cake to be the least fat content, use low -fat mayonnaise and yogurt for the filling without taste additives, and instead of ham – smoked indecutine.

Cut cubes smoked ham and pickled cucumbers. Beat soft cheese with a mixer, measure a certain amount of yogurt and mayonnaise, add to the mixture and beat again. Add cucumbers and ham and mix well again. Put 6 pieces of bread for toasts on the base for a cake (three pieces of two rows. If desired, you can cut off the crust at bread and give the cake softer lines. Sweep on the basis of a third of the filling. Make three more layers in the same way, also lay the filling on top and coat the edges of the cake with it. Cover the cake with foil and put in a cold place until the next day. Decorate the cake immediately before serving. To do this, mix the components for the upper layer and the resulting cream grease the top of the cake and its edges. Cut paprika into small cubes, chop dill and parsley, and sprinkle the surface of the cake and its edges with the mixture obtained. Place ham slices in the center.

Smoked chicken and peach cake

The cake is prepared quickly and simply, smoked chicken and peaches will give it a delicate taste, and soft cheese with spicy herbs will bring pleasant shades of sharpness.

For 8 servings

• 1 package of bread for toasts

• 400 g of smoked chicken (or turkey)

• 4 tbsp. l sour cream

• 4 tbsp. l. mayonnaise

• 1 hour. l. salt with spices

• 1 bank (825 g) of peach compote

• 1 DL of soda water with lemon taste

For decoration:

• 150 g of soft cheese with spicy herbs

• canned peaches

• Fresh thyme

Mix sour cream with mayonnaise, salt and add carry. Cut smoked chicken and peaches into small cubes and add them along with seasonings to a sour cream-master mixture. On the basis for the cake, place four slices of bread (if you want to cut off the crust), soak them with soda water and lay half the filling on top. Put the layer of bread again, soak it and cover the remaining filling. Repeat again. Cover the cake on top with cling film and put in the cold until the next day. Immediately before serving, cover the cake with soft cheese from above and from the sides and decorate.

Tunets cake

You can cook such a cake from both bread and rolls, but the bread cake will be much more satisfying and useful.

For 10 servings

• 2 packages of bread for toasts

For filling:

• 2 banks of canned tuna

• 1 onion

• 3 boiled eggs

• 2 dl sour cream

• 2 dl mayonnaise (for example, Helmanns)

• 1 long fresh cucumber

• 1 box of tomato-cherry

• Fresh parsley

• Basil leaves

Wash the onions, cut into small pieces and mix with chopped tuna and eggs. Add sour cream and mayonnaise, lemon pepper and aromatic salt. Put 8 slices for toasts on a tray of 8 slices (if you cut the edges, then the cake gets a more smooth outline) and cover with half the filling on top. Do the same with the second layer, and spread the third layer of bread on top with mayonnaise (half of the right amount is best saved until the next day, then it will turn out more beautifully).At night put the cake in a cold place. Decorate. To do this, cut the cucumber into slices and decorate the surface of the cake with cucumber slices and parsley leaves. Put halves of cherry tomatoes and basil leaves on top.
