Okroshka

With the advent of heat, one involuntarily recalls your favorite summer dish – okroshka. There are many recipes and varieties of food: based on kvass, mayonnaise, kefir. And how many options for its ingredients … It can be meat, fish, sausage and a complete variety of vegetables.

Today we bring to your attention a recipe for classic okroshka.

You will need to make a dish:

• 2 liters of kvass, it can be purchased in a store or do it yourself;

• 200 g of sausages, better than different types: sausages, smoked, damp and chicken breast, if you wish, you can add meat: beef or low -fat pork;

• 3 – 4 large potatoes;

• 3 eggs;

• 3 medium -sized cucumbers, in the absence of fresh, the use of pickled;

• half a bundle of green onions;

• parsley and dill;

• 2-3 tbsp. l. Sour cream of medium fat content.

Process.

Potatoes must be boiled in uniforms, drained water, cool, peel the skin and cut into small cubes.

Cucumbers also chop. In fresh vegetables, you need to cut the ends (they are bitter), if the skin is rough – remove it and it.

All meat products, except sausage, boil and cool. Then cut into small pieces.

Divide cooked eggs into halves or cubes. Yolks – knead, mix with sour cream and kvass and pour into a saucepan.

Add chopped parsley, onions, dill branches to the ingredients.

Mix everything and pour the prepared kvass. If necessary, salt or, on the contrary, sweeten. It depends on the quality of the drink used.

On the table, the dish is served cold!
