The taste of dumplings with cherries, for sure, is remembered by everyone since childhood. And, it seems, there is nothing complicated in this recipe, but every housewife is obtained differently. There are still some subtleties in the preparation of dumplings, and the main secret is, of course, in the test.
Today I will tell you how to cook dumplings with fresh cherries. I propose my own version of the recipe, according to which you will get unusually tasty, and melting in your mouth, dumplings.
I cook the dough on kefir. I also want to note that this recipe is universal and low -calorie. Such dumplings can be prepared for dessert, for breakfast, and even for easy dinner. The filling can be changed at your discretion and taste.
Products:
Flour – 600 grams.
Kefir – 250 ml.
Egg – 1 pc.
Margarine – 100g.
A pinch of salt
Cherry
Sugar
Potato starch
Sour cream
Preparation:
From the flour of kefir and melted margarine, knead the elastic dough.
Roll out, the resulting dough into a thin layer.
Rinse the berries and remove the bones. (Can be with a bone)
The formed cherry juice is drained into a cup.
From the dough, using a regular glass, cut out the circles.
Put several berries in each circle, sprinkle slightly with sugar.
So that the dumplings do not be pasted during cooking, we will trim the filling with potato starch.
Blind the edges of each dump and lower into boiling salted water.
As soon as dumplings with cherries float to the surface, cook them for 3-5 minutes.
We take them out with a slotted spoon and lay them out on plates.
You can use cherry juice or sour cream as gravy.
