As soon as we update the kitchen or change the old plate to a new one, so the question arises, what will we cook on. Nowadays, the choice is so great that it is not so easy to decide what to stop on. And if with conventional gas and electric slabs it is more or less clear, then the hobs still remain a novelty. And firms that produce them are more and more: the hob Hansa, Smeg, Electrolux, Gorenje, Ariston and many other manufacturers.
And if you still decided on the hob, then it is worth knowing what options are:
1. First, determine what is more convenient for you: a gas, electrical or combined model.
2. Then, as you want the panel to be located.
– It will be possible to put independent at least where, even on a regular table, and the oven will need to be bought separately. They are controlled autonomously.
– The dependent is complete with the oven, so it is put only on it. The control panel is usually common.
3. What surface do you want: enamel, stainless steel, glass ceramic or aluminum.
– The advantages of surfaces with enamel are the ability to choose almost any color, as well as the absence of divorces and traces of fingers. Minus – fragility, chips often appear, it is not recommended to clean them with a metal sponge.
– Surfaces with stainless steel are not particularly expensive, but still their cost is higher than enameled. Plus – not afraid of blows, can be cleaned with abrasives (but not abuse). The appearance of divorces after washing can be considered a minus, but it is easy to remove them if you wipe it with a dry cloth. Or as an option, buy with a matte surface, no traces are visible on it.
– The most expensive glass ceramic surfaces. The main advantages: a very beautiful appearance, easy to wash, quickly heats up (if electric) and cools, economical. Minus: Afraid of blows with heavy objects (more than two kilograms). Some inconvenience: dishes should have an absolutely even bottom, its edges should not go beyond the circle of “burner”.
– Aluminum surfaces are one of the cheapest. Their plus: not afraid of blows. Minus: you can not clean with abrasives, scratches appear very quickly on it.
4. Now about the burners.
– In aluminum, enameled and steel surfaces, standard “pancakes”. Their minus is a long heating.
– In the ceramic heating zones inside the surface and differ in rapid, halogen, induction and Hi-Light modifications. Each of them has its own characteristics.
– Gas surfaces may simultaneously have ordinary burners, ultra -skis and auxiliary.
5. Also decide how much conforms you need. There can be from two to six.
6. Select the type of control panel: mechanical or sensory.
7. Well, it remains to understand whether you need additional functions, if so, what.
Pleasant cooking!
